Adani Group has announced plans to establish a cement grinding unit in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, with an estimated investment of 1,500 INR-Crore. The project reflects Adani’s strategy to expand its footprint in the building materials sector while strengthening supply chains across central India. The cement grinding unit in Guna will enhance production capacity and support infrastructure growth in the region.
The upcoming facility will integrate modern technology to ensure efficiency and sustainability. Land has already been allotted to Adani Cement for the 6 MTPA facility. It is further expected to generate around 300 direct jobs and nearly 1,200 indirect jobs. The project marks a significant expansion of the conglomerate’s cement operations in the state and strengthens its presence in the building materials sector.

In parallel, Adani Cement is progressing with plans for a second grinding unit in the Ujjain district, with a proposed investment of 1,400 INR-Crore. The company has submitted a proposal to the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation seeking around 70 Acres of land for the project. Like the Guna facility, the Ujjain unit is also planned with a capacity of 6 MTPA. Moreover, it will create similar employment potential of 300 direct and 1,200 indirect jobs.
By situating the cement grinding unit in Guna and advancing the Ujjain proposal, Adani aims to leverage central India’s connectivity and raw material advantages. These projects will support rising demand from housing, industrial, and infrastructure segments while diversifying Adani’s portfolio beyond energy and logistics. Together, the two units underscore the group’s strategy to scale production, strengthen supply chains, and contribute to regional economic growth.
