The Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF & CC) approved a 136 INR-Crore luxury hotel proposal by Adani Airport Holdings Ltd within the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport premises. The Expert Appraisal Committee (Infra-2) reviewed the plan thoroughly in its August meeting.
Adani’s project in Thiruvananthapuram will include a 240-room hotel with 660 seats for food and beverage. Also, this development will occupy over 8,000 SqM of airport land currently used as open parking. The planned five-storey structure will be 23 Meters tall with two basement parking levels. It further includes a ground floor and four upper floors, covering approximately 34,000 SqM of built-up area.

Moreover, the hotel development will require nearly three years and may generate 300 direct and 900 indirect jobs. Adani Thiruvananthapuram facility aims to improve passenger amenities and boost regional tourism. This initiative forms a key component of Adani Group’s city-side development strategy, supporting airport users and incoming Vizhinjam port crew.
