Afcons Infrastructure bags 464 INR-Crore water supply project in Rajasthan

Afcons Infrastructure has won a significant water supply project valued at an estimated 463.50 INR-Crore from the Office of Additional Chief Engineer, P.H.E.D Project Region, Udaipur. 

The project targets enhancing water access in Rajasthan’s Dungarpur district. It focuses on delivering a reliable water supply to 353 villages across Chikhli, Simalwara, Jonthary, and Galiyakot blocks. The scope includes constructing an intake well, a water treatment plant (WTP), and a comprehensive transmission system up to overhead service reservoirs (OHSRs).

Additionally, Afcons will manage operations and maintenance (O&M) for ten years following a one-year defect liability period. The project, part of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), sources water from Kadana Back Water (Mahi Dam) under Package-1. Furthermore, this water supply project underscores Afcons’ expertise in executing large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
