Infra‑tech and defence solutions provider Apollo Micro Systems Ltd (AMSL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Telangana Government. The company plans to set up a greenfield defence manufacturing project with an estimated investment of 1,500 INR-Crore.
Under the MoU, AMSL, along with its subsidiaries and step‑down subsidiaries, will establish a state‑of‑the‑art facility. It will focus on expanding the company’s manufacturing and explosive‑filling capabilities. Moreover, the facility will produce warheads, rocket motors, and artillery systems. It will also manufacture small, medium, and large‑caliber ammunition. Additionally, complete artillery and rocket‑based armament systems will be part of the production line.

The agreement was signed in Hyderabad, with the Telangana Government assuring support through required approvals and incentives to facilitate swift project execution. Moreover, the AMSL facility in Telangana will strengthen India’s indigenous defence manufacturing ecosystem and boost export‑oriented production.
