The Andhra Pradesh priority road corridors adopt an integrated approach to urban corridor redevelopment. It goes beyond road resurfacing and focuses on improving the entire streetscape, including junction upgrades, drainage, mobility planning, and long‑term asset performance. The initiative aligns with the state’s vision of building world‑class, safe, and durable urban roads.
Funding for these projects will be released in phases. Furthermore, 40% of the project cost will be paid during the 12‑month construction period. The remaining amount will further be disbursed over a 10‑year operations and maintenance period through semi‑annual annuities.
