The Andhra Pradesh Government has allotted an anticipated 100 Acres of land to Virupaksha Organics in Orvakal, Kurnool. The Hyderabad‑based company will set up a greenfield manufacturing facility for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and organic chemicals.
The land lies within the IP Guttapadu Cluster at the Orvakal Node. The project involves an estimated investment of 1,225 INR-Crore and aims to create around 1,500 direct jobs. Moreover, the facility will generate substantial indirect employment across logistics, utilities, and ancillary services.

The Virupaksha Organics Orvakal project aims to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s position in the pharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem. It will also support the state’s push to develop Orvakal as a high‑potential industrial and life‑sciences cluster.
