The Bangalore Development Authority has reissued tenders for the Mekhri Circle elevated corridor in Bengaluru at an estimated cost of 420 INR-Crore. The authority floated the tender on Thursday, March 26, marking the second bid attempt within four months. The project aims to ease congestion along the Hebbal–Mekhri Circle stretch.

The proposed elevated corridor will span 1.6 Km and will feature a four-lane structure. It will start near the UAS staff quarters and extend up to Mekhri Circle. The design includes an elevated rotary junction at the intersection. Additionally, two down-ramps will connect the corridor to CV Raman Road toward Yeshwantpur and Jayamahal. The project does not require additional land acquisition but needs clearances from defense establishments. Authorities have planned the alignment to integrate with a future east-west elevated corridor.
