Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has secured the Telanaga thermal project worth an estimated 13,500 INR-Crore from NTPC Limited. The contract was awarded in Telangana on Monday, March 30.
The scope includes supply and installation of supercritical boilers, turbines and generators along with associated systems. BHEL will also handle Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) works for the project. The thermal facility will strengthen base-load power generation capacity in the state.

Once completed, the BHEL Telangana thermal project will enhance power supply reliability. It will also support industrial and infrastructure growth across Telangana.
