Authorities have invited bids for appointing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) consultant for the Khammam-Penuballi NH project in Telangana. The tender was announced on Thursday, April 2. The project will cover the 4-laning of the Khammam–Penuballi section of NH-365BB.
The scope includes preparation of DPR for upgrading the highway to four lanes with improved pavement and alignment standards. The corridor forms part of a larger connectivity route linking Khammam to Bhadrachalam via NH-365BB and NH-30. Existing sections of the broader corridor have already seen upgrades, with several stretches completed or nearing completion.

Once implemented, the Khammam-Penuballi NH project will improve regional road connectivity and support logistics movement. It will also strengthen connectivity between Telangana and adjoining states.
