Bihar is all set to launch three major road projects along the Ganga River worth an estimated 17,000 INR-Crore to improve connectivity. The first stretch, Digha-Sherpur-Bihta-Koilwar (35.65 Km), will be built at a cost of 6,495.79 INR-Crore. This project is expected to ease traffic and improve road links in the Patna region.

The other two projects include the Munger (Safiabad)-Bariyarpur-Ghorghat-Sultanganj stretch (42 Km) at 5,119.80 INR-Crore and the Sultanganj-Bhagalpur-Sabour stretch (41.33 Km) at 4,849.83 INR-Crore. Once ready, the Munger-Bhagalpur-Sabour stretch will span nearly 84 Km, easing congestion and serving as a ring road. Together, these Ganga River road projects will connect key cities and cut travel time.
