Brigade Hotel signs multi-deal agreement with Marriott International

Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited (BHVL) has signed a landmark multi-deal agreement with Marriott International to develop six hotels with 940 rooms across four key Indian markets. These new hotels will operate under five globally recognised Marriott Bonvoy brands. The brands include The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott, and Fairfield by Marriott.

  • Courtyard by Marriott will open at Chennai World Trade Center in FY 2027. The hotel will offer 45 thoughtfully designed guestrooms for business and leisure travelers. It will also feature two dining outlets to enhance the guest experience.
  • Fairfield by Marriott will open near Bengaluru Airport in FY 2028. The hotel will offer easy access to the city’s business hubs. It will feature 224 well-appointed rooms, including suites for added comfort.
  • Fairfield by Marriott will open at Brigade Valencia in South Bengaluru in FY 2028. The hotel will stand in a thriving IT corridor with multinational companies. It is expected to feature 151 well-designed and comfortable guest rooms.
  • The Ritz-Carlton will open on Vaikom Island, Kerala, in FY 2029. Further, the hotel will offer timeless elegance and transformative experiences in Southern India. It will blend exclusivity with refined design in a serene location. The property will feature a 70-key all-villa retreat with luxury amenities. Each villa will provide refined accommodations and include a private pool.

  • JW Marriott will open on Chennai OMR in FY 2030 as planned. The hotel will feature 250 stylishly appointed guest rooms and suites. It will serve travelers seeking luxury, exceptional service, and well-being experiences. Also, the property will offer a serene escape with holistic hospitality features.
  • Marriott Hotels will expand its presence to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala’s capital city. Further, this new hotel will strengthen Marriott’s position across the Kerala region. Thiruvananthapuram Marriott Hotel World Trade Center will open in FY 2030. The hotel will form part of a mixed-use development in the city. Also, the hotel will offer 200 modern and inviting rooms for guests. It will feature five distinct dining venues with diverse culinary offerings.

Marriott International has developed a strong hotel portfolio in key South Indian cities. After this signing, Brigade further strengthens its 15-year partnership with Marriott. Also, this deal marks a major step in their ongoing collaboration. Including Sheraton Grand Bangalore and Four Points by Sheraton Kochi, Brigade now operates eight Marriott hotels. The total Marriott-branded inventory by Brigade has reached 1,388 keys.
