Ceigall India Limited has secured an order worth an estimated 1,700 INR-Crore from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Ltd. This Rewa solar contract is for the development of a 220 MW solar power project with Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Morena Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh. Moreover, the company received the Letter of Award (LoA) dated Monday, February 9.
The Rewa Ultra Mega Solar contract covers the development of Unit 1 (220 MW) of solar power and BESS installation. The quoted tariff for the project is 2.70 INR per KiloWatt-Hour. Under the contract terms, Ceigall India will construct the project over a 24-month period. Following commissioning, the project will have an operational period of 25 years. Additionally, the company secured the order through the domestic competitive bidding framework.

The contract is expected to add capacity to the region’s renewable energy infrastructure. It marks another project award under the ongoing solar development activities at Morena Solar Park. The project will further contribute to Madhya Pradesh’s renewable energy capacity and support India’s broader clean energy transition goals.
