The Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO) has invited tenders and will set up a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to manage the project. The main stadium will cover 20 Acres, and another 10 Acres will include a commercial complex with retail outlets and multi-level parking. Construction is likely to begin by late December or early 2026 once the final designs and reports are approved.
