Digital Connexion, a joint venture between Brookfield, Reliance Industries, and Digital Realty, announced on Wednesday, November 26, an estimated 11 US$-Billion investment until 2030. The company will use this investment to build 1 GW AI-native, purpose-built data centers in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The campus will cover an anticipated 400 Acres of strategically located land to support large-scale AI workloads.
On November 14, Reliance confirmed its plan to build a fully modular, future-ready 1 GW AI data center capable of hosting advanced GPUs, TPUs, and AI processors. Moreover, the deal was signed during the CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam. Digital Connexion stated that its centers are designed to enable seamless AI workloads with redundant power feeds, robust substations, and high rack densities to meet the requirements of the next decade.

Furthermore, Digital Connexion is constructing India’s next-generation digital infrastructure with AI-native data centers engineered for performance, scalability, and sustainability. It already operates a campus in Chennai and is developing another in Mumbai’s Chandivali area, offering low-latency, carrier-neutral connectivity. Aligned with India’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, the company integrates renewable energy, advanced cooling, and efficient designs to support high-performance computing and AI-driven growth.
