Eden Realty to invest 5,000 INR-Crore in residential and hospitality projects in Kolkata

Eden Realty Group has announced an estimated 5,000 INR-Crore investment in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects along both banks of the Hooghly River in and around Kolkata. The company plans to execute this expansion by 2030. Through this roadmap, it aims to scale up its portfolio and strengthen its riverfront presence.

As part of the plan, the group will develop a premium riverside residential project in Shalimar, Howrah, with an outlay of around 2,000 INR-Crore. The development will comprise over 1,000 housing units across five towers. Meanwhile, the company will formally enter the hospitality sector. It will develop five luxury hotels with nearly 600 rooms across Kolkata, Howrah, South 24 Parganas, Raichak, and Budge Budge.

Eden Realty will develop its first hotel on an anticipated 2.3 Acres parcel leased from Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata. This project will include 80 keys and see an estimated investment of 150 INR-Crore. Additionally, the company plans to construct a larger 300-key hotel at Garden Reach. It will develop this project on a 20 Acres leased site with an investment of about 450 INR-Crore.

Overall, the Eden Realty investment plan across Kolkata signals growing confidence in eastern India’s real estate market. Consequently, the diversified pipeline will strengthen its presence across residential and hospitality segments by 2030.
