The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) allotted approximately 200 Acres of land to Escorts Kubota Limited for setting up a 4,500 INR-Crore Tractor manufacturing unit. The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Uttar Pradesh Government on Sunday, August 17.
Escorts Kubota will generate employment for 4,000 individuals in multiple phases. In the first phase, the company will invest 2,000 INR-Crore to construct a tractor plant, a commercial equipment plant, and related facilities. Later, the second phase will move forward based on market conditions and capacity usage of the first phase.

The manufacturing unit will not only meet domestic demand but will also target international markets. Moreover, Escorts Kubota will set up shared services to support Kubota’s global R&D operations from India. This move will strengthen India’s position in the international market.
