ICICI commits 550 INR-Crore for Tata Memorial Cancer Care Center(TMC) in Vizag

In collaboration with Tata Memorial Center, ICICI Bank plans to construct an eight-story building at the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCHRC) in Visakhapatnam. The bank has pledged over 550 INR-Crore for the facility, which will span 3.9 Lakh-SqFt and feature excellent medical technology.

It is designed to be one of the biggest cancer facilities. The new building will have 215 beds and is expected to be completed by 2027. ICICI had announced a partnership with TMC by committing 1,200 INR-Crore to establish three new blocks at its centers in Visakhapatnam, Navi Mumbai, and New Chandigarh.

Recognizing the evolving needs of TMC, they now plan to increase their contribution to 1,800 INR-Crore.  This collaborative effort is a mission towards cancer care and providing people with high-quality and accessible health care.
