Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has signed a Taj hotel Patna, in Bihar. The greenfield development will be undertaken in partnership with Patliputra Palace Pvt. Ltd.
The upcoming property will feature 500 keys. It will include an all-day dining restaurant, two speciality restaurants, and a lobby lounge. The development will also include leisure and wellness infrastructure. Planned amenities include a temperature-controlled swimming pool, fitness center, salon, recreational facilities, and J Wellness Circle spa.

Additionally, the project will include event and convention infrastructure. A 16,000 SqFt ballroom will anchor the hotel’s banqueting facilities, along with multiple meeting spaces. The Taj Hotel will be located opposite Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The site lies close to the River Ganges in the city’s central district. With this signing, IHCL will have 7 hotels in Bihar, including 4 under development.
