IHG Hotels & Resorts signs a hotel in Ahmedabad

To develop a new hotel, ‘Holiday Inn Ahmedabad’, IHG Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement with Atithi Gokul Hotel Inns Pvt Ltd (Part of AG Group, Ahmedabad). The 150-key hotel is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2028. This is a mixed-use development project that comprises residential as well as commercial spaces.  

The project is strategically located on the Sarkhej–Gandhinagar Highway. This is beneficial due to excellent connectivity with government institutions, educational hubs, corporate offices, and IT parks, making it an ideal location. Guests will have access to elegant and cozy suites, 3 different dining options, a ballroom, fitness centre, swimming pool, and ample parking.

Currently, IHG has 50 operating hotels across 6 brands in India, namely Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, Voco Hotels, Holiday Resort Inn, and Holiday Express. The upcoming IHG hotel in Ahmedabad will effectively meet the needs of modern travelers in the city while generating strong returns for the owners.
