Jakson Engineers, part of the Jakson Group, has announced an estimated 8,000 INR-Crore investment in Madhya Pradesh (MP). The company plans to establish a 6 GW integrated solar manufacturing plant in Maksi Phase II, across two phases.

The proposed project by Jakson will be developed across an anticipated 110 Acres site, making it the largest solar manufacturing investment in MP. Phase I will see the commissioning of 3 GW of solar modules and 3 GW of solar cells, backed by 2,000 INR-Crore. Meanwhile, Phase II will add a 6 GW solar wafer facility along with an additional 3 GW each of modules and cells. This will require over 6,000 INR-Crore. The first modules are expected to roll out by May 2026, followed by solar cells in September 2026.

The fully integrated facility will operate under Jakson’s unique “four-in-one” model -manufacturer, developer, EPC, and O&M provider. This will further ensure quality control, cost efficiency, and rapid technology deployment. Moreover, the Jakson solar manufacturing plant will generate over 1,000 jobs during construction and employ around 1,400 people once operational.
