Karnataka has invited bids for the Mangaluru tech park project, a 135 INR-Crore commercial office development expected to generate over 11,000 direct and indirect jobs. The Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation (KEONICS) is overseeing the project under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, using the Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) approach.
The proposed Mangaluru tech park will be built on a 3.285 Acres site along Blueberry Hills Road in Derebail. It will feature Grade-A office spaces with meeting rooms, cafeterias, recreation zones, and conference halls. About 75% of the 3.52 Lakh-SqFt built-up area will be used for offices. The remaining space will include retail and hospitality facilities such as food courts, shops, and hotels. Officials plan to finalise the tender by December 2025 and complete construction within three years.
