MahaMetro has started work on Maharashtra’s longest CLC bridge over the Vena River. The CLC bridge is part of the 6.7 Km Reach-3A Hingna stretch, which will include seven stations. The total project cost is 378 INR-Crore, with 45 INR-Crore allocated for the bridge.

The project, executed by Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) and designed by Ayesa, is expected to finish in 18 months. Work on foundations, piers, and girders in the Hingna corridor is also moving steadily. Overall, the CLC bridge will be longer than Kamptee-Uppalwadi (258 M) and Cotton Market (231 M). Proof-checking by VNIT Nagpur and consultants will ensure safety. Once completed, the project will showcase modern engineering and make the Vena River a vital point in Nagpur’s metro network.
