The Maharashtra Government has approved the MNLU Nagpur hostel and library project, estimated at 264.77 INR-Crore. This approval is a major step in enhancing the university’s residential and academic facilities.
The project will be developed at Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Nagpur’s permanent campus in Waranga, covering over 43,000 SqM. The boys’ and girls’ hostels will be six-storey buildings (G+5), while the dining hall and “Eat Street” complex will have two floors (G+2). Additionally, the library will rise four floors and include digital learning and research zones. The plan also features solar energy, water management systems, eco-friendly landscaping, and accessibility provisions to create a green and inclusive campus.

Once completed, the MNLU Nagpur project will offer modern facilities for students and staff. Of the total cost, the university will spend 194.9 INR-Crore on main structures and essential works, and it will allocate 69 INR-Crore for GST, contingencies, furniture, and project management. This initiative demonstrates the university’s commitment to academic excellence and sustainable campus development.
