TheMaharashtra Government signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 10 companies to attract Maharashtra investments worth 42,892 INR-Crore. These agreements target solar and green energy, data centers, and other growth sectors. The signing took place on Tuesday, August 19, in Mumbai in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Among the signed investments, Prestige Group committed to Maharashtra for an estimated 12,500 INR-Crore. The group will develop a data center, a Global Competency Center (GCC), and a logistics park around Navi Mumbai. It will also build supporting residential and commercial infrastructure. These projects will directly employ 8,700 people. Prestige plans to establish an estimated 5,000 INR-Crore data center in Taloja, a GCC on 100 Acres in Navi Mumbai, and a logistics park on 250 Acres in Khalapur.
Additionally,Jupiter International Limited will invest an estimated 10,500 INR-Crore to build a solar wafer and module manufacturing unit in Butibori, Nagpur. This solar facility will generate 8,300 jobs. Webmint Digital Private Limited signed an MoU to build a hyperscale data center in Taloja with an estimated investment of 4,846 INR-Crore. This project will create 2,050 direct jobs.

LNK Green Energy also signed an agreement to build a 6 GW solar power and module manufacturing facility. The company will invest an estimated 4,700 INR-Crore at Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. This plant will create 2,500 jobs and will be the largest of its kind in India.
Furthermore,Vow Iron and Steel Private Limited, under the Pagariya Group, will set up an integrated steel plant at Gondpipari, Chandrapur. This 4,300 INR-Crore investment will approximately start next year and offer 1,500 jobs. Rovision Tech Hub Private Limited, based in Pune, will invest an estimated 2,564 INR-Crore to build a high-end data center in TTC industrial area, Navi Mumbai.

Rochak Systems Private Limited, an IT firm from Mumbai, also plans to develop a data center campus at TTC industrial area. The company will invest 2,508 INR-Crore approximately and employ 1,000 people. Atlas Copco Group will invest an estimated 575 INR-Crore to create a solar panel manufacturing unit in Dapodi, Pune.
The state government also signed MoUs with Global India Business Corridor (GIBC) and TuTr Hyperloop Private Limited. GIBC will promote trade and investment cooperation with companies from the UK and EU on a case-by-case basis. TuTr Hyperloop will develop a high-speed Linear Induction Motor (LIM) based transport system at JNPT and Vadhvan Port. This mobility project aims to modernize logistics, improve transport speed, and reduce emissions. Overall, these Maharashtra investments highlight a strong push for infrastructure and technology-led development, driven by strategic investment.
