NCC, Shapoorji Pallonji, and L&T to build five towers in Amaravati at 3,673 INR-Crore

The 48th Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) meeting, held on Monday, June 2, approved the construction of the GAD Tower and four Head of Department (HoD) Towers in Amaravati. NCC, Shapoorji & Pallonji, and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) have been awarded the contract to construct these towers at a total estimated cost of 3,673 INR-Crore.

The CRDA approved bids for the GAD Tower and HoD Towers 1, 2, 3, and 4. NCC will build the GAD Tower for an estimated 882 INR-Crore. Meanwhile, Shapoorji & Pallonji and L&T will construct the HoD Towers for 1,488 INR-Crore and 1,303 INR-Crore, respectively.

The towers in Amaravati will house government departments, ensuring efficient administration and accessibility for the public. The CRDA has also approved plans for an international airport (over nearly 5,000 Acres) and a smart industrial zone (over 2,500 Acres) in Amaravati. These initiatives aim to boost infrastructure and attract investments.
