NLC India Limited (NLCIL) will set up a 110 MW grid‑connected solar photovoltaic power plant in Uttar Pradesh. The Navratna PSU has received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) for the project.
NCRTC is a joint venture of the Union Government and the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. The corporation is developing the solar plant to meet the power requirements of its Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor. Under the agreement, NLCIL will set up, commission, operate, and maintain the solar power plant.
