The Union Cabinet approved an estimated 2,254 INR-Crore Noida Metro Extension covering 11.56 Km from Sector 142 to Botanical Garden. Authorities will develop 8 elevated stations under this project. With this addition, the active network in Noida and Greater Noida will expand to 61.62 Km.
The new corridor will connect Sector 142 to the Botanical Garden with modern elevated tracks and passenger facilities. This Noida Metro Extension will offer seamless interchange with the Blue Line and Magenta Line of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Furthermore, commuters will gain direct access to Delhi, key railway stations, major bus terminals, and the airport.
