Odisha approved 20 new industrial projects with an estimated cost of 4,353 INR-Crore, giving a strong boost to balanced regional development. The state cleared proposals across chemical, electronics, aluminium downstream, tourism, infrastructure, IT services, renewable energy, and food processing sectors. These investments cover 11 districts and will generate 7,815 jobs, showcasing growing confidence in Odisha industrial investment.
Additionally, the state highlighted major proposals, including PT Works Pvt Ltd’s 532 INR-Crore beverage unit in Jagatsinghpur, NTPC SAIL Power Company Ltd’s 710.27 INR-Crore floating solar project in Sundargarh, and Annantham Solar Energies Pvt Ltd’s 271 INR-Crore solar cell and module unit in Dhenkanal. Furthermore, strong job creation is expected from RKD Hotels Pvt Ltd’s 58.8 INR-Crore resort in Puri, Rashmi Metallurgical Industry Pvt Ltd’s 600 INR-Crore iron ore beneficiation plant in Keonjhar, and several tourism and green energy projects planned across Koraput, Angul, Khurda, and Sambalpur.

With these approvals, Odisha strengthened its long-term vision of Samruddha Odisha. The state focused on job creation, skill development, and building a future-ready workforce. Consequently, Odisha is advancing its goal of growing the economy from 120 US$-Billion to 500 US$-Billion by 2036. This momentum further boosts sustainable progress and increases confidence in Odisha industrial investment.
