Odisha Governmentaccelerated industrial growth as part of its Samrudha Odisha 2036 vision. The 139th meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, approved 19 new projects worth 4,515 INR-Crore. These projects will create 8,200 jobs across 8 districts, including Angul, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Sundargarh, and Jharsuguda. Thus, Odisha’s investment momentum gained speed across multiple sectors.
In green energy, INOX Solar Ltd announced a 283 INR-Crore BESS assembly plant in Dhenkanal, generating 51 jobs. Jindal Stainless Ltd planned a 90 INR-Crore green hydrogen unit in Jajpur, creating 89 jobs. Furthermore, a Raipur-based firm committed 750 INR-Crore for a 2 GW solar cell plant in Ganjam, offering 515 jobs. In waste management, Gravita India Ltd confirmed 350 INR-Crore for a recycling unit in Angul, adding 270 jobs. In pharmaceuticals, Starcaps Global LLP allocated 80 INR-Crore for a Khordha facility, creating 145 jobs.
The tourism sector also secured Odisha investment approvals. Padma Hospitality will build a three-star hotel in Jagatsinghpur with 59.91 INR-Crore, adding 181 jobs. SNM Hotels & Resorts committed 92.32 INR-Crore for a four-star resort in Jagatsinghpur, creating 173 jobs. Meanwhile, Orissa Stevedores Ltd planned a 211 INR-Crore five-star hotel in Paradip, generating 350 jobs.

In bio-fuel, Vibrant Spirits Pvt Ltd proposed a compressed biogas plant in Sundargarh with 50 INR-Crore, producing 725 jobs. In steel, Betabuilds Technologies will set up a 131.55 INR-Crore steel processing unit in Sundargarh, adding 400 jobs. Konark Ispat Ltd confirmed 990 INR-Crore expansion in Jharsuguda, generating 2,000 jobs. Infrastructure and logistics also gained focus. Shree Jagannath Carriers will invest 111.90 INR-Crore in a logistics park at Angul, creating 300 jobs. Sapient Resources announced a 70 INR-Crore coal washery project, adding 300 jobs.
In EVs, Sanaka Auto Corp committed 300 INR-Crore for an electric vehicle plant in Khordha, creating 145 jobs. In digital infrastructure, Shreetech Data announced a 501 INR-Crore hyperscale data center in Khordha, offering 450 jobs. West Edge Data Centres proposed a 50.50 INR-Crore facility, generating 190 jobs. Food and beverages also recorded Odisha investment approvals. Elixir of East pledged 93.65 INR-Crore for a spirit unit in Khordha, creating 110 jobs. Associated Alcohols and Breweries Ltd planned a 300 INR-Crore distillery with bottling capacity, adding 1,812 jobs.
