The Odisha Government received a strong push as the State-level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) approved 25 new projects worth 4,739 INR-Crore. These projects span 13 key sectors and are expected to generate over 25,000 jobs. Moreover, the investments will be spread across Khurda, Jajpur, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Angul, and Gajapati. The approved projects by the Odisha Government include-
Textiles & Apparel Projects
The government approved nine textile and apparel projects worth 1,684.87 INR-Crore, which will create 18,450 jobs, including:
- Colortone Textiles Pvt Ltd – Integrated textile facility in Khurda worth 700.29 INR-Crore
- Aditi Lifestyle Pvt Ltd – Knitted fabric & garment unit in Khurda at 209.36 INR-Crore
- Techno Activewear Pvt Ltd, SCM Garments Pvt Ltd, Carloo Tex Pvt Ltd, Wovinova Pvt Ltd – Sportswear, large knitted garments, ready-made garments, and healthcare consumables units in Cuttack. Investments: 100 INR-Crore, 150 INR-Crore, 60 INR-Crore and 57.53 INR-Crore, respectively
- Hindalco Industries Ltd – Apparel units in Keonjhar & Sambalpur with an investment of 100 INR-Crore each.
- Perfect Infra Vision Pvt Ltd – Textile & allied products in Balangir worth 110.7 INR-Crore.
- Piu Fashion Pvt Ltd – Garments unit in Khurda industrial area valued at 96.99 INR-Crore.
Energy & Chemicals Projects
- Sirius Speciality Chemicals Pvt Ltd – Carbon electrode paste plant in Jajpur worth 205.44 INR-Crore.
- BEIL Infrastructure Ltd – Treatment, storage & disposal facility in Ganjam at an estimated 320.7 INR-Crore
- Prozeal Green Energy Ltd – 69.5 MW solar park in Sonepur with an investment of 140 INR-Crore.
Tourism & Hospitality
- SYCE India (OPC) Pvt Ltd – Five-star luxury resort in Sambalpur worth 107.42 INR-Crore.
Mechanical, Electrical & Capital Goods
- Rahee Track Technologies Pvt Ltd – Heavy steel casting foundry in Khurda at an estimated 140 INR-Crore.
- Konark Ispat Ltd – Expansion of rolling mill, pellet plant, DRI, billet plant, and CPP in Jharsugud with an investment of 990 INR-Crore.
IT / ITeS
Linde India Ltd – Global competency center in Khurda 82 INR-Crore and pipeline cluster in Jajpur valued at 105.7 INR-Crore.
