In December 2025, Biltrax Construction Data documented over 1,508 new construction projects. These include 844 building projects and 664 industrial & infrastructure projects.
Building Construction Projects Insights – December 2025
The 844 new building projects incorporated in December 2025 cover a combined 253.41 Million-SqFt, with a total construction cost of 131,068 INR-Crore. Of these, 318 projects are under construction, while 526 are in the early stages. The breakdown further includes 483 private projects and 361 public projects.
Among the significant construction projects in December 2025 is Krisumi Corporation‘s mixed-use development in Gurgaon. “Krisumi City” is being developed in a phased manner across 10 phases, with a cumulative 25% of construction work completed. Moreover, it is estimated at 5,022 INR-Crore and sprawls an anticipated 33.38 Acres of land.
Another notable construction project in December included the development of Web Werks Data Center, in Bangalore. This commercial project has an estimated construction cost of 12,000 INR-Crore. Being developed by Web Werks, it is expected to be completed by 2028.In December 2025, Biltrax monitored 523 new tenders with a total tender value of over 30,276.47 INR-Crore.
Notable tender issuers include the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Building Construction Department (Bihar), NBCC (India) Limited, Madhya Pradesh Police Housing & Infrastructure Development Corporation (MPPHC), and Madhya Pradesh Building Development Corporation Limited (MPBDCL).
Industrial and Infrastructure Projects Insights
In October 2025, Biltrax’s BX-2 platform also documented 421 industrial projects worth 145,227 INR-Crore & 156 infrastructure projects worth 41,603 INR-Crore.
In December 2025, 463 industrial projects worth 79,220 INR-Crore & 201 infrastructure projects worth 60,724 INR-Crore were also documented.
The 463 industrial projects span a total area of 89.74 Million-SqFt. Karnataka led with 87 projects. Meanwhile, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Telangana followed closely.
Additionally, Biltrax tracked 135 water infrastructure projects in December 2025, worth 23,450 INR-Crore. Maharashtra led with 33 water infrastructure projects, followed by Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
December 2025 also saw major transport infrastructure projects. One such notable project is the BSMILE Three Lane Underground Twin Tunnel. This project is divided into two packages, with package 1 involving the design and construction of a 3-lane underground twin tunnel road from Seshadri Road to Silk Board KSRP Junction. Meanwhile, Package 2 continues from Hebbal Esteem Mall Junction to Seshadri Road. With both packages awarded to Adani Enterprises Limited, the project is currently in the pre-construction stage. Moreover, the total estimated construction cost is 22,267 INR-Crore.
Lastly, a major industrial project in December 2025 includes the Amperex (ATL) Battery Manufacturing Unit Phase 2, in Sohna, Gurgaon. Developed by Amperex Technology Pvt Ltd, this project has an estimated construction cost of 3,500 INR-Crore. Furthermore, it has a construction area of approximately 550,000 SqFt.
