Over 1,650 New Construction Projects Tracked in September 2025

In September 2025, Biltrax Construction Data documented over 1,650 new construction projects. These include 988 building projects and 662 industrial & infrastructure projects.

Building Construction Projects Insights – September 2025

The 988 new building projects incorporated in September 2025 cover a combined 242.66 Million-SqFt, with a total construction cost of 101,139 INR-Crore. Of these, 407 projects are under construction, while 581 are in the early stages. The breakdown further includes 619 private projects and 369 public projects.

Among the significant construction projects in September 2025 is Godrej Aqua Retreat Hinjewadi residential development in Pune, Maharashtra. Spanning an anticipated 8.66 Acres of land, the project is planned with seven residential towers along with a modern clubhouse spread across podium levels. As of October 2025, initial site setup work is in progress.

Another notable construction project in September included the expansion and modernization of Guwahati Medical College and Hospital in Assam. This project has an estimated construction cost of 3,000 INR-Crore. Being developed by the Public Works Department (PWD), this project is expected to be completed by 2027.

In September 2025, Biltrax recorded 516 new tenders with a total tender value of over 25,362.97 INR-Crore. Notable tender issuers include the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Building Construction Department (Bihar), Public Works (Building & NH) Department (PWD) Assam, and Military Engineer Services (MES)

Industrial and Infrastructure Projects Insights

In September 2025, Biltrax’s BX-2 platform also documented 453 industrial projects worth 251,922 INR-Crore & 209 infrastructure projects worth 43,827 INR-Crore.

The 453 industrial projects span a total area of 125.3 Million-SqFt. Maharashtra led with 72 projects. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Karnataka followed closely.

BX-2 also tracked 149 water infrastructure projects worth 22,575 INR-Crore in September. Gujarat attracted the highest number of projects. BX-2 documented 23 water infrastructure projects in the state. Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan followed closely.

September 2025 also saw major transport infrastructure projects. One notable project is the NHAI Four Laning of Vadhavan Port to Tawa Village Section of NH 248S. The project involves constructing a 4-lane (expandable to 8 lanes) access-controlled Highway section. As of September 2025, the tender is floated for the selection of the contractor.

Lastly, a major industrial project in September 2025 includes the Adani New Industries’ Green hydrogen Manufacturing Unit in Mundra, Gujarat. This project has an estimated investment cost of 40,000 INR-Crore. The overall construction cost of the project is 30,000 INR-Crore with a construction area of approximately 3,000,000 SqFt.
