Pace Digitek bags 1,775 INR-Crore solar project from KREDL

Pace Digitek has secured a 250 MW solar project from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd (KREDL). The contract is valued at an estimated 1,775 INR-Crore. The company received a Letter of Award (LoA) under a tariff-based competitive bidding process. Meanwhile, the project will be executed at Pavagada Solar Park, Karnataka.

The scope includes setting up a 250 MW solar photovoltaic plant. Additionally, the project will integrate a 250 MW / 1,100 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The storage component will support grid stability and peak-hour supply. Furthermore, the project will operate under an interim tariff framework approved by the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission. The discovered tariff stands at 5.51 INR per unit.

The Pace Digitek solar project will further strengthen the company’s presence in utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage development in Karnataka. Moreover, it will support the efforts to supply peak power and optimize grid utilization in the state.
