Patna will witness multiple infrastructure launches on Monday, August 25, as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate new urban works. He will also start the construction of several other infrastructure projects worth 700 INR-Crore.
These include a four-lane road from Patel Golambar to Atal Path. This road will include an underground drainage system along the Mandiri drain. The project cost stands at an estimated 196.8 INR-Crore and will improve traffic flow. Additionally, officials will build a connecting road from the Mandiri Nala project to the JP Ganga Path. The project, worth an estimated 52.28 INR-Crore, will allow smoother movement across the city.
Moreover, the Government will create Patna Haat and a parking hub for an estimated 59.68 INR-Crore. This facility will provide better access to the civilisation gate. Kumar will also launch renovation work for hostels in colleges and universities in Patna.

Furthermore, the Government will push ahead with the JP Ganga Path Samagra Udyan (Phase 1). This stretch covers 7 Km of green development from Digha to Gandhi Maidan. The estimated cost will be 387.4 INR-Crore. With these projects, officials aim to reduce congestion and expand the city’s network.
Overall, the Government expects these works to enhance road capacity and deliver smoother travel. Consequently, residents will gain faster routes and better connectivity. Meanwhile, green zones will reshape urban spaces. Simultaneously, improved connectivity will support traffic management, while stronger connectivity will raise the quality of city life.
