PG Electroplast to Invest 1,000 INR-Crore in Consumer Electronics Plant in Maharashtra

Next Generation Manufacturers, a subsidiary of PG Electroplast Limited, has signed an MoU with the Government of Maharashtra. The company will set up a greenfield consumer electronics plant in Kamargaon, Ahilyanagar. The project involves an investment of 1,000 INR-Crore.

The proposed project is part of the state Magnetic Maharashtra initiative. it will involve the construction of an integrated production of air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, and other related appliances. Upon completion, the facility is expected to generate over 5,000 direct and indirect jobs, significantly boosting Maharashtra’s consumer electronics ecosystem and supply chain network in Western India.

The new plant in Kamargaon will be extremely well integrated vertically, increase the local components ecosystem and create mass employment.
