The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has approved an estimated 203 INR-Crore plan to upgrade the Chandani Chowk-Bhugaon corridor. This development will ease traffic for commuters from the Konkan region and significantly improve the city’s western approach.
The project will feature a 2 Km flyover, a 30 Meter long & 70 Meter wide bridge over the Ram Nadi, and a grade separator to reduce traffic congestion. Work will begin once 80% of the required land is acquired, after which PMC will float tenders for construction. Although PMC has not specified a completion date yet, this initiative highlights its commitment to improving infrastructure along this important route.
