Ramky secures pharma park project at DPIA worth 3,000 INR-Crore

Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation awarded a pharma park project to Ramky Infrastructure Ltd for development at the Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA) in Maharashtra. The company secured the project through its wholly owned subsidiary Maha Integrated Life Sciences City Ltd. Authorities signed the concession agreement with MIDC for an estimated investment of 3,000 INR-Crore. The announcement was made on Saturday, March 14.

The development will span 1,000 Hectares (Ha) of land within the Dighi Port Industrial Area in Raigad district. The project will establish a high-tech pharmaceutical park comprising industrial zones, commercial areas, and integrated common infrastructure. The scope also includes utilities, internal road networks, and designated open spaces to support pharmaceutical manufacturing and allied industries. The project will be implemented on a Public-Private Partnership model under the Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) framework.

Once completed, the DPIA pharma park project will strengthen pharmaceutical manufacturing infrastructure in Maharashtra. The project will also support industrial expansion in the Dighi Port Industrial Area and attract investments in the life sciences sector.
