Reliance Industries to set up 1,622 INR-Crore Beverages Unit in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool District

Reliance Industries Ltd aims to broaden its impact in Andhra Pradesh with a proposal to establish a major beverages manufacturing unit in the Kurnool district. The total investment for the project is estimated at 1,622 INR-Crore

According to the proposal, a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited- Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) will be in charge of this project. It will manufacture carbonated soft drinks and bottled water. The development of this plan would take place in two phases. Phase I would be worth 1,006 INR-Crore, and Phase II would be worth 616 INR-Crore.

The plant would be developed over an anticipated 100 Acres of land, consisting of the bottling line, warehousing, water treatment facility, and administrative buildings. This facility is said to generate 2000 INR-Crore annually. Thus contributing around 500 INR-Crore per year to the state exchequer in GST revenues. Kurnool is an ideal location for the said project. The company has requested the allocation of land in the Industrial area for the project.
