Real estate developer Runwal Enterprises has acquired an anticipated 200 Acres land parcel in Alibaug, near Mumbai, for a 20,000 INR-Crore integrated township project. It will be developed under the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning (MR&TP) Act, 1966. The project, promoted by Subodh Runwal, further marks one of the largest real estate investments in the coastal region.

The proposed Runwal Alibaug township will feature a mix of residential and commercial developments. It will include a five-star hotel and social infrastructure, such as a golf course, subject to planning regulations and infrastructure obligations. With a total development potential of about 20 Million-SqFt, the township will be executed over seven years in phases. Meanwhile, investments are aligned to approvals, construction timelines, and market absorption rather than being deployed upfront.
