Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has secured orders worth an estimated 656 INR-Crore from NMDC Limited for projects in Chhattisgarh. The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing.
NMDC awarded two separate work orders to RVNL. Under the first contract, the company will construct a residential tower in Kirandul at an estimated 284.52 INR-Crore. RVNL will complete this project within 16 months. Meanwhile, under the second order, the company will develop a township in Kirandul, Chhattisgarh. This project further carries an estimated 371.69 INR-Crore cost and is scheduled for completion within 21 months.

Overall, the scope includes construction and associated civil infrastructure works. Through these developments, NMDC aims to strengthen its operational capacity in the region. Additionally, the projects will support better workforce housing and improve ecosystem support infrastructure near its mining locations in Chhattisgarh. RVNL will execute both projects within the stipulated timelines outlined in the respective work orders.
With RVNL Chhattisgarh projects, RVNL continues to expand its project portfolio in the mining-linked infrastructure segment. The new contracts will further reinforce the company’s presence in central India’s industrial corridor.
