Schneider Electric to set up 500,000 SqFt facility, Tamil Nadu

Schneider Electric has announced the development of an anticipated 500,000 SqFt IT facility in Tamil Nadu. The company will set up this facility at Horizon Industrial Park near Shoolagiri.

This project, in partnership with Horizon Industrial Parks, will be executed in 2 phases. Phase I will consist of dust-free manufacturing units and office spaces. Additionally, it will feature several advanced enhancements such as expanded industrial power capacity, fire safety systems, and optimized workspace layouts. It will create 1,500 employment opportunities. Phase II will see the construction of a custom, high-spec facility for advanced operations, expected to be completed in 7 months.

The upcoming manufacturing unit by Schneider Electric in Tamil Nadu will incorporate various eco-friendly features. These include roof insulation using glass wool, rooftop solar panels to enhance thermal efficiency, and a 12 Meter clear height Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) design with skylights. Furthermore, it will feature advanced ventilation systems to ensure optimal air quality and energy efficiency.
