In the 7th State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting, 19 investment proposals were accepted. The cost of these projects is estimated at 28,546 INR-Crore. Additional incentives were also offered to industries being set up in backward areas during the meeting.
According to the approvals granted on June 19, the total investment proposals cleared across the seven SIPB meetings have reached 5,34,684 INR-Crore.
The major investments approved by SIPB include:
- Adani groups: Adani Hydro Energy Four Ltd & Adani Hydro Energy One Ltd — 10,900 INR-Crore (various districts), Adani Renewable Energy Fifty One Ltd — 8,010 INR-Crore (Kadapa)
- Chinta Green Energy Pvt Ltd — 2,323 INR-Crore (Kadapa) and Reliance Consumer Products Ltd — 1,622 INR-Crore (Orvakal)
- Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt Ltd — 1,583 INR-Crore (in three phases in Visakhapatnam), and Raymond — 1,201 INR-Crore (various locations).
Other investments include:
- Berry Alloys Ltd — 573 INR-Crore (Sri Sathya Sai district), Meglan Leisures & Entertainment LLP — 225 INR-Crore (Eluru), 3F Oil Palm Pvt Ltd — 224 INR-Crore (East Godavari),
- Green Park Hotels & Resorts Ltd — 145 INR-Crore (Amaravati), Pavani Hotels–Lemon Tree Premier — 80 INR-Crore (Tirupati)
ABIS Proteins Pvt Ltd — 350 INR-Crore (Chittoor), Sangam Dairy Pvt Ltd — 130 INR-Crore (Tirupati), and Channel Play — 80 INR-Crore (Kopparthy).
