SRF Ltd has approved capital expenditure worth an estimated 740 INR-Crore for two new projects in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The first involves a 250 INR-Crore investment to set up an agrochemical facility in Dahej.
The second project by SRF allocates 490 INR-Crore for a biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film production unit in Indore. The agrochemical unit will be completed within 18 months, with capacity tailored to product mix. Meanwhile, the Indore packaging facility will add 60,000 MTPA to the existing 110,000 MTPA capacity over 24 months. Both SRF projects will be funded through a mix of debt and internal accruals.
