Barabanki Mustafabad highway

The Government of Odisha has approved 18 proposals under the Odisha industrial projects approval, with a total investment of 3,877 INR-Crore. The approvals were granted on Tuesday, April 2026, during a meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA). The projects will be implemented across 11 districts and aim to accelerate industrial development in the state. The approved portfolio spans multiple sectors, including metals, pharmaceuticals, logistics, shipbuilding, recycling, and hospitality. Jay Jagannath Steel and Power Limited will invest 955 INR-Crore to expand its sponge iron facility into an integrated steel plant in Sambalpur. Harman Finochem Limited will set up a 530 INR-Crore API and formulation manufacturing facility in Ganjam. Scan Steels Limited will invest 503.68 INR-Crore to expand its steel plant in Sundargarh. Runaya Eckart Aluminium Powders Private Limited will establish a 300 INR-Crore aluminium powder unit in Jharsuguda. Additionally, Ambitech Healthcare Private Limited will set up a 51 INR-Crore medical devices unit in Khurda, while Envair Electrodyne Limited will develop a 136.87 INR-Crore copper-clad laminate facility in the same district. Solar Industries India Limited will invest 210.1 INR-Crore in a defence-grade explosives unit in Deogarh. In logistics, Tamil Nadu Ispat Private Limited will set up a 113.4 INR-Crore multi-modal logistics park in Jharsuguda, while Alps Mining Services Pvt Ltd will develop a 52 INR-Crore coal washery. Baleshwar Shipyard and Infra Private Limited will invest 150 INR-Crore in a shipbuilding and repair facility in Balasore. South Block Marketing Private Limited will establish a 111.64 INR-Crore recycling facility in Khurda. Additionally, several hospitality projects have received approvals. These include a 196.25 INR-Crore five-star hotel in Sambalpur by Jas Constructions and a 154.85 INR-Crore five-star hotel in Khurda by Rath Hospitality. Other projects include a 120 INR-Crore four-star hotel in Keonjhar, a 100 INR-Crore five-star hotel in Puri, an 80 INR-Crore luxury resort in Koraput, and a 55.55 INR-Crore four-star hotel in Puri. Collectively, the Odisha industrial projects approval is expected to generate about 7,565 jobs and strengthen industrial diversification across the state.
