TCS to set up 20 Acres campus in Silicon Valley, Kolkata

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has received approval from the New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA) to begin Phase I of its Bengal Silicon Valley campus. 

TCS will construct an anticipated 9 Lakh-SqFt for office spaces in Phase I of the Kolkata project. It will consist of an 11-storey building, creating 5,000 jobs. Phase II of this project will include 15 Lakh-SqFt and create 20,000 more employment opportunities.

Both the phases together will bring the total built-up area to 24 Lakh-SqFt and the employment opportunities to 25,000. This project is a part of the software exporter’s broader aim of expanding its capacity in real estate.
