The foundation-laying ceremony in Haryana marked a significant development milestone as Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched key projects valued at 825 INR-Crore across the state.
In the healthcare sector, several new facilities will be developed:
- A Mother and Child Block at the Civil Hospital in Sonipat, costing 138.12 INR-Crore, and another similar block in Nuh, estimated at 33 INR-Crore.
- A 100-bed hospital at Assandh in Karnal at a cost of 76.19 INR-Crore.
- Authorities plan to build Critical Care Blocks in Karnal (20.74 INR-Crore), Sonipat (22.53 INR-Crore), and Nuh (22.58 INR-Crore).
In the infrastructure category, the state will strengthen the Rohtak–Kharkhoda–Delhi border road at a cost of 25.04 INR-Crore. It will also construct a Dairy Complex on Kanheli Road in Rohtak for 13.88 INR-Crore.
Under the law enforcement segment, the government will build two new District Jail Buildings — one in Charkhi Dadri costing 97.73 INR-Crore and another in Panchkula at 86.17 INR-Crore.

At the same event, following the Haryana foundation stone ceremony, Minister Amit Shah inaugurated five new nursing colleges across Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Panchkula, and Faridabad, built at a total cost of 262.51 INR-Crore. Additionally, he inaugurated a two-lane bridge on the Delhi–Hisar road costing 12.03 INR-Crore. The minister also opened 84 new police residences at the Jind Police Lines. Additionally, the new PWD Rest House and Block Office in Narnaul, Mahendragarh, were inaugurated for public use.
