On Thursday, June 19, Uno Minda Ltd confirmed the detailed project report approval to set up a new manufacturing facility at Sambhajinagar, Aurangabad. The total estimated cost for this project is 210 INR-Crore.
The upcoming facility will be developed in a phased manner over the course of 5 years. The total capacity of this facility is estimated to be 3,629 MT per annum. Phase I is expected to start operating in the second quarter of the financial year 2027.

Uno Minda is planning to make a casting division in the facility for original equipment manufacturers to cast parts for electric vehicles. The establishment of this facility will further enhance the manufacturing capacity of Maharashtra.
