Vikran Engineering has bagged an estimated 354 INR-Crore turnkey EPC contract from Ellume Energy MH SolarOne to develop a 100 MW AC/120 MW DC solar power project in Maharashtra. The contract covers the complete scope of design, engineering, procurement, and commissioning under a lump-sum arrangement.
The project includes construction, installation, testing, and commissioning, following strict technical and safety standards. Key components such as PV modules, inverters, and transformers will come from top-tier manufacturers meeting IEC and BIS norms. Once completed, the plant will boost Maharashtra’s renewable energy capacity and cut carbon emissions.

Rakesh Markhedkar, Chairman and Managing Director, Vikran Engineering, said the milestone strengthens the company’s expertise in large-scale renewable projects. It also reflects its continued diversification beyond power transmission, water, and rail sectors.
