Vestian successfully delivered a 2.55 Lakh-SqFt fit-out for a leading German automotive company’s R&D center in Bengaluru. The project consolidated five previously separate teams under one roof at the C5 Tower in Brigade Tech Garden. Vestian completed the project across the first to fifth floors within 120 days, while the landlord’s base-build works were still ongoing. The LEED Platinum SEZ block offered deep floor plates, high floor-to-floor heights, and a glazed north-south façade. Despite logistical challenges, including a full-scale indoor car test bay and a lean interiors budget, Vestian ensured a seamless execution.
Smart Design with Motorsport-Inspired Elements
Early design concepts incorporated a motorsport theme, including step seating around the atrium and tyre-mark graphics across floors. Although the budget and schedule required some adjustments, key ideas were retained. The first-floor car display and test bay, circulation-ring lighting, and color-blocked neighborhood cores reflect the original Gear Up Garage concept while serving daily workflows efficiently.

Visitors enter through a precise curtain wall aperture, where a vehicular ramp lifts cars directly into the first-floor reception and test bay. Labs and wellness rooms are arranged in a tight figure-of-eight plan to optimize engineer movement from laptop to lift jack.
Flexible Workspaces and Cafeteria Design
The 942-seat cafeteria doubles as an all-hands venue, with lightweight furniture and retractable AV equipment enabling quick transitions from lunch service to company briefings. Three identical work floors house 323 to 454 workstations each, interspersed with amphitheatres, phone booths, and writable scrum alleys.

Every desk remains within thirty paces of a huddle, brainstorming, or collaborative space. An eight-storey central atrium brings natural light deep into the layout, reinforced by custom curved gypsum forms and pendant lighting rings, creating a sense of motion and anchoring community spaces around the void.

Sustainable and Efficient MEP Systems
Vestian implemented LEED Gold in-house specifications for finishes, including water-based paints, low-VOC adhesives, and carpet tiles with recycled content. Chilled-water AHUs serve open offices, while mission-critical spaces run on dedicated VRV units integrated with the Building Management System for off-hour cooling. Automatic Carbon sensors trigger fresh-air bursts during peak sprint cycles. Acoustic spray treatments and PET-fibre baffles enhance comfort and serve as brand-colored wayfinding planes. Vestian coordinated complex installations, including kitchen cores, test bay transfer girders, curved luminaires, and the vehicular ramp façade, without impacting schedule.
Project Completion and Impact
The project finished on day 118, two days ahead of schedule, without any unplanned night shifts. Six months post-handover, HR surveys reported sharper cross-team collaboration, faster sprint cycles, and increased engagement around amphitheatre town-halls. Vestian’s execution now supports the company’s engineering culture, enhancing collaboration while maintaining purposeful brand references. The workplace reflects both high-performance engineering and a dynamic, flexible design that meets operational and cultural goals.
