BMRCL invites tenders for 4,000 INR-Crore Bengaluru Metro Phase-3 works

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has invited tenders for three major civil construction packages under Phase-3 of the Bengaluru Metro Rail Project. The Bengaluru Metro Phase-3 tenders are valued at over 4,000 INR-Crore and cover the Orange Line’s double-decker corridors.

According to the notification, Package-1 is estimated at 1,375.66 INR-Crore. Moreover, it includes 6.5 Km of elevated structures, four double-decker stations, and a 5,695 meter rail-cum-road flyover. The scope also covers demolition, road-widening, and utility diversion.

Package-2, worth 1,396.10 INR-Crore, spans 5.4 Km of elevated structures. Additionally, it will deliver four double-decker stations at Hoskerehalli, Dwaraka Nagar, Mysore Road, and Nagarbhavi Circle. The package also includes associated flyover and roadworks. Meanwhile, Package-3, estimated at 1,415.65 INR-Crore, involves 6.6 Km of elevated metro stretches. Besides, it includes three double-decker stations, one single-decker station at Sunkadakatte, and depot entry lines. This package also covers ramps, road-widening, and utility shifting.

Tender documents for the Bengaluru Metro Phase-3 will remain available on the Central Public Procurement Portal until February 25. Moreover, the technical bids are scheduled to open on February 27. Overall, the double-decker corridors form a crucial part of Phase-3, integrating metro and road infrastructure along high-traffic city corridors.
